SLOPPY JOE SPAGHETTI SQUASH BOWLS

3 ½ lb spaghetti squash
cooking spray
½ cup chopped onions
8 ounces 93% ground beef
8 ounce can no salt added tomato sauce
2 tsp unpacked brown sugar
1 tsp chili powder
¾ tsp garlic powder
¾ tsp onion powder
½ tsp salt
2/3 cup Great Value Fiesta Blend Reduced Fat shredded cheese
2 sliced green onions
Cut squash in half and remove seeds. Place cut side down on a foil-lined baking sheet that has been sprayed with cooking spray. Roast for around 35 minutes at 425 until softened. Let cook slightly then shred strands of squash with a fork but leave inside the shell.
While squash is baking make sloppy joes. Brown onions and ground beef; drain if necessary. Add tomato sauce and all the seasonings and mix well. Divide evenly between the two squash halves and top each with half of the cheese. Place under the broiler for a couple minutes until the cheese is melted. Removed and sprinkle with sliced onions before serving. Makes 2 servings (1 entire half squash each)
As made above with these specific ingredients it is 8 points per serving for all three plans. You can change the type of meat and cheese you use to change the points.
