SHAVED BEEF SANDWICHES
8 ounces shaved beef, or very thinly sliced
1 green pepper, cut into slices
1 onion, cut into slices
Montreal Steak Seasoning
Steak Sauce
4 slices Sargento Thin Provolone Cheese, broken in half
2 Lavash bread wraps
In a large frying pan cook peppers and onions in a tad bit of oil until tender. Remove to a separate bowl and
set aside. In the same pan add a tad bit more oil and the beef. If the beef is in large pieces cut them into
smaller bite sized pieces first. Season with Montreal Seasoning to taste. Stir and cook until done. Add the
peppers and onions back to the pan and add steak sauce to taste. I use enough to coat everything but not over
saturate. Heat through. Cut each lavash into 2 pieces and put 2 half moon pieces of cheese into each piece of lavash.
Divide meat mixture between the 4 lavash breads. Fold up taco style and heat in microwave just long enough to let
cheese begin to melt.
Makes 4 servings.
