SAUSAGE BREAKFAST SKILLET

1 pound bulk breakfast sausage*
1/2 small onion, chopped
3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese

In a heated skillet break sausage apart with a spatula and once it begins to release some fat continue to break
apart into small crumbles.  Add onion and let cook together until the sausage is completely done.  Remove to a
paper towel lined bowl to drain and pour off any excess fat left in the pan.  Return sausage to pan and sprinkle
with cheese.  Cover and leave on heat for a minute or two just until the cheese is melted.  Makes 4 servings. 
I plan on serving it with a medium fried egg over top.
5 net carbs per serving.

*the roll of sausage I used in the video was only 12 ounces but my regular brand comes in 1 pound packages
​ so I'm leaving the recipe written for 1 pound.
