SAUSAGE BREAKFAST CASSEROLE II
1/2 pound bulk breakfast sausage
2 slices bread, cut into cubes
3 eggs
1 cup milk
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
salt and pepper to taste or House Seasoning
Cook and crumble the sausage, drain and set aside. Spread bread cubes onto bottom of a sprayed
8 x 8 inch baking dish. Top bread with cooked sausage and then the cheese. In a medium bowl
whisk together eggs, milk and seasoning, Pour over sausage mixture. Press down to make sure
all the bread is in the eggs. Let sit about a half hour or so. You can also make this ahead of time
and let sit, covered, in the refrigerator overnight. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until set. Let
sit about a half hour before cutting. Makes 4 servings.
