QUICK & EASY BARBECUPS
6 Pillsbury Flaky Layers biscuits, not Grands
12 ounces 96% lean ground beef (or your choice of ground meat)
1 tablespoon dried minced onion flakes
1/2 cup G. Hughes sugar free BBQ sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar, opt.
3 ounces shredded Cabot 75% Light cheddar cheese
Cook ground beef and dried onion together until done and drain is necessary. Add BBQ sauce and brown sugar if using and cook until heated through. In the meantime separate the 6 biscuits into 12 halves. Spray a 12-cup muffin tin and press one half onto the bottom and up the sides of each cup. The biscuit will not reach the top of the cup. Divide the meat evenly between the cups then top with cheese. Bake at 400 for 10 - 12 minutes or until bread is done and cheese is melted. Makes 12 pieces.
