PIZZA TATERS
1 pound 93% lean ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onions
1/2 cup chopped green bell peppers
4 tablespoons sliced black olives
2 ounces turkey pepperoni, chopped
1 jar (14 - 16 ounces) pizza sauce (I used Great Value)
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
6 baked potatoes
shredded mozzarella cheese
grated Parmesan cheese
Brown beef with onion and peppers until done. Drain if necessary. Add remaining ingredients except potatoes and cheeses. Let simmer about 10 minutes to heat through. Serve over baked potatoes and top with 0 points worth of each cheese (I used less than 1/4 cup fat free mozzarella cheese and 1 teaspoon Parmesan cheese)
Makes 3 cups total or 6 1/2-cup servings.
4 points on all plans just for topping. Potatoes must be counted extra for Blue & Green but are 0 on Purple.
