PECAN COBBLER
6 tablespoons butter
1 cup pecans, slightly chopped
1 1/2 cups self rising flour
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2/3 cup milk
1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
1 1/2 cups hot water
Preheat the oven to 350 and while it is preheating melt the butter in a 9 x 13 inch baking dish. When butter is
melted spread pecans evenly over top. In a medium bowl hand mix flour, granulated sugar, vanilla and milk.
Do not overmix. Just make sure the dry ingredients are went and combined, Pour over pecans but do not stir
or mix. Evenly sprinkle brown sugar over top of batter but again do not stir or mix. :Carefully pour hot water
all over the top and do not stir of mix. Bake for about 30 - 35 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the
center is done.
