OVERNIGHT OATMEAL BASE RECIPE
(I use this as the base for all my variations)
2/3 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/3 cup old fashioned oatmeal
¼ cup nonfat plain Green yogurt, optional (add points if any)
1 ½ teaspoon chia seeds
½ teaspoon vanilla
Add all ingredient in a 12 ounce canning jar. I like to put half of the milk in first then oatmeal, chia seeds and vanilla, and other half of milk. It seems to help the dry oatmeal not stick to the bottom. Then add the remaining ingredients.
Blue (5) Purple (2) Green (5)
For each of the following flavors just add these extra ingredients to the base. You can add as much or as little sweetener as you like. You can easily add more sweetener when you eat them. You can also use any type of extract you'd like other than or in addition to the vanilla.
Close the lid and shake until well blended or stir with a butter knife or long teaspoon. Store in the fridge overnight or for up to 6 days. I've always made 5 or 6 at a time and haven't had any problem keeping them that long but you only make as many as the number of days you want to store them.

**if using 2 tablespoons of jelly instead of fruit add another splash of almond milk otherwise it may set up too thick
