OVEN BAKED BEANS
2 slices bacon, diced
1/2 onion, chopped
1 can pork and beans
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon yellow mustard
In a saucepan brown bacon then set aside on a paper towel lined plate. In the bacon grease fry the onions
until tender. Remove to the same plate as the bacon. Drain any grease left behind. Pour the can of
pork and beans in the pot then the remaining ingredients. Stir to combine. Add the bacon and onion; stir.
Pour into a greased 1 quart casserole dish. Bake at 350 for 40-50 minutes or until thickened to your liking.
Beans will thicken more as they cool. Makes 2 - 3 servings.
