MEATBALL SUB CASSEROLE
6 slices French baguette or 4 slices French bread, cut into 1/2" slices
2 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1/4 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
2/3 cup shredded mozarella cheese
1 cup spaghetti sauce
1/4 cup water
1 clove minced garlic
12 frozen meatballs cooked as per package directions
Place the bread slices in a sprayed square baking dish; set aside. Mix together cream cheese, mayonnaise
and Italian seasoning until well combined. Spread evenly between pieces of bread. Sprinkle half the cheese
over top of each piece of bread. In a medium sized bowl mix spaghetti sauce, water and garlic. Add meatballs
and stir to coat. For baguette size pieces of bread put 2 meatballs on top of each one and for the regular
French bread slices put 3 meatballs on top of each one. Spoon spaghetti sauce evenly over the meatballs and
then top each one with the remaining half of cheese. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes. Makes 2 servings.
