HOMEMADE CREAM SOUP MIX
2 cups dry milk
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1/4 cup chicken bouillon powder
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon thyme
1 teaspoon basil
Mix all ingredients and store in airtight container. Makes a quart jar full. It makes the equivalent of 9 cans of cream soup.
Each "can" is 6 points total on all plans.
To make whisk 1/2 cup mix with 1 1/4 cup water over medium heat for a couple minutes until thickened. Use as 1 can of condensed cream of whatever soup.
For mushroom or celery soup first saute a small bit of the vegetable in a little oil until softened and then add in soup mixture and cook as directed.
