HASHCAKES
(These came about when I didn't feel like messing up the waffle iron)
104 grams shredded hashbrowns
chopped onions, opt
22 grams fat free shredded cheddar cheese
1 egg
I like to soften my hashbrowns in the microwave for 1 minute or let them sit at room temperature to thaw.
This is totally optional. Stir in onions, cheese and egg. Spread into a medium to large frying pan and cooked
just like a pancake on both sides until done.
Makes 1.
You can also make up freezer packets. Just put the ingredients for one hashcake into a small food baggie and
store them all in a large food bag. Store in the freezer. If you want yours softened allow to do so at room
temperature a little while before cooking. Do not microwave because the cheese will melt.
Use any amounts of ingredients you like if not making for WW.
