CROCKPOT HONEY SESAME CHICKEN
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
House Seasoning or salt and pepper
16 ounces Lite Kraft Asian Toasted Sesame salad dressing*
1/4 cup honey
3 tablespoons cornstarch
3 tablespoons water
rice vinegar, if needed
sesame seeds
chopped green onions
Place chicken in greased crockpot or use a liner and season with either House Seasoning or salt and pepper. Cook on high, covered, for 1 1/2 - 3 hours or until done but still firm (not soft enough to shred). Check chicken after the first 1 1/2 hours and every half hour after that. Remove the chicken, cut into bite sized pieces and set aside. Drain all the juices from the crockpot and then whisk together the salad dressing and honey. Return chicken pieces to the pot and press down into the sauce. Mix the cornstarch and water and whisk into the sauce; you can do this either before or after you add the chicken back in. Let cook, covered, another 30 minutes on high. Taste before serving and if too sweet for your liking add a splash of rice vinegar to tone it down. Serve with rice and/or vegetables and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Makes 8 - 1/4 cup servings of sauce. Chicken is not calculated into the points.
All plans (sauce only) 6 points.
*You may also use Ken's Lite Asian salad dressing but the points will be a little higher.
