COPYCAT IHOP COUNTRY GRIDDLE CAKES
from Top Secret Recipes
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups buttermilk
1/3 cup instant Cream of Wheat
1 large egg
1/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
Whisk wet ingredients together and then stir in dry ingredients until well blended. Make as you would any pancakes.
Makes 16 pancakes. Per pancake is 3 points on all plans.
These were my favorite pancakes at IHOP and that's when I used to try to recreate everything at home because we couldn't afford to go out to eat very often. I found this copycat version and mad them at home. They stopped making them years ago so even though they're a bit high in points I decided to dust off the recipe and have a treat.
