BACON ALFREDO BRUSSEL SPROUTS
This is a recipe with no exact amounts. It can be multiplied for as many servings as you
may need. It's a simple but delicious side dish.
Brussel Sprouts, cooked
Red onion, chopped
minced garlic
Oscar Mayer Real Bacon Pieces
Alfredo sauce
Shredded cheese*
Spritz a frying pan with a little oil and saute onions with bacon until onions begin to soften.
Add garlic and stir around to blend and make fragrant. Add brussel sprouts and stir to mix
in with onions and bacon. Add alfredo sauce and mix well. Pour into a sprayed baking dish
and top with shredded cheese. Bake at 350 for about 10 - 15 minutes until heated through
and cheese is melted.
*I used a imited edition cheese from Walmart that contained medium cheddar, gouda and
gruyere. I recommend a mild, melty cheese. Monterey jack would be good or either just
gouda, gruyere or a mixture.
