BACON & CHEESE PORK CHOPS
from Pound Dropper
boneless pork chops
garlic salt or seasoning of choice (the garlic was very good)
1 piece of bacon per chop
chopped onions, to taste
shredded cheese, the type and as much as you want to spend the points on
Chop bacon and add to pan along with the onion and cook until bacon is very crispy. Remove to paper towel to drain
but leave the rendered fat in the pan. You may at this point choose to remove some of the fat depending on how much
your bacon renders. Season both sides of the pork chops and fry until completely cooked through. Top with bacon &
onion then shredded cheese. Turn heat to low, cover and let the cheese melt. Alternatively you may remove the pork
chops to a plate, top with the bacon and cheese and microwave until the cheese is melted, about 1 minute depending
on your microwave.
I wrote this recipe without strict amounts because it's easy to multiply as needed. The topping will be the same for each
chop so it will depend on how many you make as to how much bacon and cheese you'll need. The points will differ for
each type of toppings you use so for this reason I have not included them in this recipe. Please run your ingredients
