SOUR CREAM CHOCOLATE CHIP MUFFINS
5 tablespoons butter, softened
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup white granulated sugar
1 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
1 1/2 cup plain flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 cup chocolate chips
In a mixing bowl beat together butter and both sugars until fluffy. Add egg, sour cream and vanilla and beat
until well blended. Add flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder and beat just until combined. Stir in
chocolate chips. Filled greased/sprayed muffin tins about 2/3 full. Bake at 350 for 18 minutes or until toothpick
comes out clean. Makes 12.
