LASAGNA CASSEROLE

1 pound ground beef
1 small onion, chopped or to taste
8 ounces rigatoni or penne pasta
30 ounces tomato sauce
1 teaspoon dried minced onion
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup cottage cheese
1 cup or 4 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese

Cook rigatoni, drain and set aside. Cook and crumbled ground beef and onions until done.  Add tomato
sauce, seasonings and Parmesan.  Bring up to a simmer and set aside.  In a bowl mix together pasta
and cottage cheese.  Pour into the bottom of a 8 x 10 baking dish that has been sprayed.  Pour tomato
sauce mixture over top and sprinkle with mozzarella.  Bake at 350 for 25 minutes.
