JIMMIE'S JAMMIN' POTATOES

6 medium-large potatoes
2 cups prepared ranch dressing
1 stick butter, melted (may use less if desired)
garlic salt
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Wash potatoes really well and boil whole until tender.  Cool, remove skin and slice into about 1/4 inch rounds.
Layer half on bottom of a sprayed square baking dish and sprinkle with garlic salt to taste. Spread 1 cup of the
ranch dressing over potatoes and then drizzle with half the melted butter.  Top with half the cheese.  Repeat layers.
Bake at 350 for 30 - 40 minutes until it is hot and bubbly.
