CHOCOLATE HAZELNUT REINDEER CHOW
1/2 cup chocolate hazelnut spread, I used Nutella
1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
2 tablespoons butter
12 ounces Rice Chex cereal
1/2 cup salted peanuts, not dry roasted
1 bag M & M's, red and green for Christmas
3/4 cup powdered sugar, more or less
In a microwave safe bowl add the Nutella, peanut butter and butter. Microwave in 30 second intervals
until melted and creamy when stirred. Mix well. Put cereal in a large bowl. Pour chocolate mixture
over the cereal and mix with a spatula until all are coated. This will take a lot of stirring. Put powdered
sugar in a large resealable bag and add cereal mixture to it. Shake until all cereal is coated and not
sticking together. If you don't have a bag big enough to put it all in at one time you may shake in
batches. Add peanuts and M & M's to bag and shake. Pour into an airtight container and store for
up to 2 weeks.
