BUTTERNUT SQUASH CASSEROLE

3 cups cooked, mashed butternut squash (or substitute sweet potatoes of you like)
1/2 stick melted butter
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
2 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla

TOPPING

1/2 stick butter, melted
1/2 cup plain flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup chopped pecans
shredded, sweetened coconut to taste

For the casserole mix all the ingredients together until completely smooth and combined,
Pour into a greased 2 quart baking dish.  For the topping, mix everything together and then pour
over the melted butter.  Mix with a fork until it makes a crumbly, but moist, mixture.  Sprinkle
evenly over the casserole.  Bake uncovered about 40 minutes until topping is browned and 
starting to get crunchy.
